Binance has announced its intention to distribute BNB worth $100 to users located in the areas most severely impacted by the recent earthquake in Turkey. The company will use Proof of Address (POA) forms submitted by users from 10 affected areas, including; Kahramanmaras, Kilis, Diyarbakir, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Adyaman, Malatya, and Hatay, to identify eligible users.
Binance acknowledged that POA may have limitations and inconsistencies. But it’s the most effective method to locate potentially affected individuals. The total donation is expected to be around $5 million.

Binance CEO, CZ, expressed his condolences to the victims and stated that the earthquake has had a devastating impact on many people and towns. He expressed hope that the company’s efforts will provide assistance to those affected and called on other players in the crypto industry to come together to help in this difficult time.
